on blogging topics

The thing with blogging is that even though one has a general topic in mind or rather a theme for a blog, one often gets sidetracked and starts blogging about completely different things. Sometimes it is completely unintentional but at others it is due to compulsion of sorts. Whatever the reason you blog for, I think it needs to be made into something fun, something lively and something interesting, even if you're writing about bathroom safety no less. Since blogging is such a personal form of expression, it is quite a creative way to let go and be inventive!

So glad you agree....I've struggled with this for quite some time and on several occasions have decided to only write about one topic or theme. But you're right it gets boring...especially this is my personal blog and I'd like to keep it varied. Thanks so much!

So many times i try to write something that can make my readers and myself laugh... then again i get lured to the controversial politics and my views on them...

i dont know why i blog... but i love it... and the basic idea though is to spread the lips of my reader... just to make them smile...

but it varies... from time to time !!
What you say is true Shalini.I struggle to keep topics of my life in one blog and so much inclined towards starting a decor blog,so had to open a different blog for it.But maintaining each theme and thinking topics and updating is quite a bit difficult. But for starters like me,as readers are few it is quite easy, not under so much pressure. But whenever i feel the undercurrent to write something,i can just type and upload.thts there.I am happy to have started it atleast now.

hitch writer: I hear you...I like to write my posts with a bit of humor too!

Lakshmi, I like the instant publishing of it too....to write something that is just the start of an idea, get feedback and build on it. Of course, it only works when one has readers :-)
