Noticing...

~ the longer days, the way the sun is creating shadows.
~ that my reading has slowed down lately....no books in January, and still on my first one in March.
~ the sudden warmth in the air, waiting breathlessly for the ac in the car to be effective.
~ that life forms its own patterns and you can not mold it where it does not want to go.

Trying to catch up with a bit of blogging today, although Sunday is a regular working day in my part of the world.

How lovely! I can almost imagine you sipping a tall glass of strawberry smoothie watering the plants :-) Something so soothing about watering plants!

I remember the intense heat of the Gulf region- lots of ice cream is needed! Also, in Muscat, many work places would close in the afternoons and reopen at 4:00PM. I don't know if they do that anymore but summers always go hand in hand with an afternoon siesta!

Kanchan, that's really the best way to deal with it!

Aditi, yes that happens here as well, but not for all companies! The traffic is so bad that no one wants to battle it an extra time :-)
Summers is not exactly started here in Delhi. When it comes,it comes with a bang, the temperature hitting straight 40.We still sleep with light rajais.night is slight cold.its spring here:)

so true! All of a sudden u realise u are not doing the things that u were used to doing!
summer is a good time, as long as i am made to be an AC room, with plenty of cool drinks ;-)
Home is actually the best place to be in - in summers, wat say?

Lakshmi, yes, summer always seems to come so suddenly in delhi!

JD, very true, if you're comfortable with the ac and cool drinks its great. But I get claustrophobic after being in the AC for the long summer here.

Not summer over here yet but thankfully winter seems to be close to an end and the spring sun is delighting us with its visits :)

It's spring here, and I'm hoping it lingers around longer, and summer takes its time coming!
