Systems in Dubai

Our trip to Dubai has gone by just so fast, it seems. Well, since our flight coming here was delayed by over one day, we lost some serious time right at the start. I like the systems here, it's very similar to the US systems, in terms of the highways, the car rental agencies, the shops etc, so we are already quite at home here. Instead of renting a car and driver that my hubby usually does, this time we just rented a car and have been driving ourselves, so we have got to know the city and the roads a lot better. We head back home to Bombay tomorrow evening and the difference is going to be quite painful, I think, especially the roads and the cars and of course the dirt and the dust.
