Pop-up hotels and resorts

Pop-up retail has been around for several years now, and now it has spread to hotels and resorts that are "popping-up" in new locations for short periods of time. Spanish Hotel Movil is one of the new concepts of pop-up hotels that are cropping up. The hotel is actually a large truck trailer that can be set up as a two level hotel in 30 minutes. It has 11 rooms and can sleep 40 people, making it a perfect party spot for family reunions or luxury camping trips. Luxury is the order of even this pop-up hotel, with attached bathrooms with each room, plasma screen TVs, DVD players, Internet access and much more. Weekend rentals are priced around EUR 7,000, with prices varying depending if you want to add a screening room or bar. Nikki Beach at Sea is another pop-up resort that is the world's first floating resort and moves from party to party, mostly targeting Nikki Beach and South Beach patrons.
