Masters weekend

Spent a Sunday away from the computer after ages, well for the most part anyways. It was Masters weekend and I just had to watch the event like I do every year. This year Jeev Milkha Singh who is from my hometown Chandigarh was playing, the first Indian to qualify for The Masters and although he faltered especially on the final day, it was a special treat to see him play at one of the most famous courses in the world. I was thinking Tiger was going to be able to make a run for the title but somehow he was not able to convert his pars to birdies, even after the incredible eagle he got.

Chandigarh has become one of the most prolific courses for budding players, having produced players like Jeev Milkha Singh, Arjun Atwal, Jyoti Randhawa, Amritinder Singh and many others. The course is one of the busiest courses in the country and has recently become the second club in the country to install floodlights for night play.
