Subhiksha to enter north Indian markets in two months

The Hindu Business Line reports that Chennai based supermarket chain, Subhiksha announced that the company will be entering markets in north and west India in the next two months. The company will be setting up supermarkets in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. The company has 54 stores at present in Andhra Pradesh and plans to open another 80 in the state, with an investment of Rs. 40 crore.
