Raymond and NIFT sign pact

Business Standard reports that Raymond and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for tailoring services and research and development, in an effort to recognize and give a push to talent from the fashion industry while also improving Raymond’s own tailoring services.

According to this agreement, the Raymond Scholarship will sponsor a top student each semester. Both organizations will also work together on R&D issues such as standardization of sizes and forecasting color and fashion trends.
