the joy of long lunches

It's been ages since I had had a leisurely lunch and coffee afterwards....outside of my own home, that is. So when we decided to meet some family for lunch and coffee afterwards, I knew I was in for a treat. Springtime in Delhi is lovely...one enjoys the warm sunshine, while it's not too cold to sit outside and the sun is not too hot. Lunch was lovely and coffee was leisurely. We finished off around 4:30 in the afternoon and then moved to sit and chat some more in the lawns in the lovely golden sunshine as it paled in the evening.

We had coffee overlooking these fountains....such a charming spot. 

Really, really comfortable wicker chairs with green cushions...on the narrow verandah overlooking the mini-lake and fountains.
