I was browsing through my retail news feeds this morning, reading about the top selling items this Christmas. As expected, at the top of the list were all the electronic items, but the surprising entry was for humidors and other cigar related items. The sales of all these items seems to have increased according to early reports, although only once the actual figures are releases will we know the full details. Walking through any shopping center, one can easily gauge the mood of the shoppers, see from what stores they are buying from their shopping bags and where the rushes are, but since online sales are such a huge part of the holiday shopping season, one cannot only base one's findings on brick and mortar stores.
