Time for Lasik

I've been wearing contacts for a long, long time and think I'm ready to go in for Lasik surgery to get rid of them altogether. Since I have astigmatism, I have been wearing Gas Permeable lenses, which are really tough on the eye when worn for long periods of time. They especially bother me when I fly long distance, and I end up getting dry eyes. Several of my friends have already had Lasik surgery and have been really happy with the results, achieving near perfect vision thanks to it. According to a study conducted by USAEyes.org, 90% of patients had 20/40 vision with the surgery and 65% had 20/20 vision after surgery, which are really great numbers, definitely good enough for me to think even more seriously about getting it done.
