Weighing and measuring

I love buying stuff for the kitchen and have collected quite a bit of stuff to help me concoct delicacies! One of the things that I really like is having a kitchen scale, since I use a lot of British recipe books that all call for ingredients by weight, as opposed to US recipes that measure ingredients by volume. Now baking has become so much easier, no more second guessing, no more approximating, only great results. One usually wouldn't think of Kitchen scales as good gift items but mine was a gift and it has turned out to be one of the best gifts for utility purposes. It has been so reliable that I'm thinking of ordering a bathroom scale from them too. I believe they have a good selection of those too.
