Goa and Portugal tie up to develop 'home-stay' concept

I'd written earlier today about finding a unique and personalized vacation rental in Goa, something that is not cookie cutter type of place. I just read an article in Business Standard about that Goa will be tying up with Portugal to revive the state's original flavor, with the main focus on developing a 'home-stay' concept which has been very successful in Portugal. While this segment of the tourist industry was very popular in the 1970s and 1980s, now there is virtually nothing in this area. I think its a super move and hopefully it will check the growing urbanization and erratic development of hotels in the state.
