Coupons in your cell

All coupon addicts are going to really love this. Cellfire has brought out an application that you can download onto your mobile phone, so that you can access coupons for eating out, shopping and entertaining. All you have to do is to either go to their website or send a text message to 22888, to download the program on to your cell phone.

Once you download the application, all you have to do is scroll through the available offers, select the coupon you would like to use and show the displayed coupon code to the cashier. The discount is immediately given and it's as simple as that. The service is absolutely free. There is no coupon fee, no monthly fee, and no installation fee. There are two download costs, one to download the program on to your cell phone (1cent/kilobyte for a 57 kb download thus totaling 57cents) and the second to download new coupons (1 cent/kilobyte for 1 coupon, thus 1 cent per coupon).

The service is only available to Cingular cell phone users as yet; other providers will soon be added. There is a good selection of merchants where you can use these coupons, like TGI Friday's, Bath & Bodyworks, Hollywood Video and 1-800-Flowers.
