Computer security

As the internet becomes more accessible and commonplace, viruses and threats to internet security are increasing. Maybe around 5 years back, one could use a computer without anti-virus and still be ok, but now it’s absolutely impossible. I found that out, when my computer crashed and everything had to reloaded, including the antivirus. Before I could open the anti virus site to re-download the software, I was bombarded with all kinds of pop-up's, malware, spyware and virus attacks.

I found a very well recommended anti-virus software program called The Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 at the http://www.algorithmconsulting.com/store, which has been rated #1 in quick detection of virus' by av-tests.org and av-comparatives.org. The software has also been rated as the "Anti-Spyware & Anti-Work Security Product of 2006". The software has a gamut of facilities such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-rootkit, anti hacker, intrusion detector and firewall facilities with a 30 day free trial.
