what's your comfort level in online shopping?
We've all done a bit of shopping here and there online, haven't we? Books, clothes, flowers and so on. I've bought art online too. But have you ever bought insurance online? What about and extended service plan such as from www.goodsamesp.com? To be a regular shopper, one has to have some kind of trust that what one finds online is good and has value. I'm not quite ready for something like this, but till then, I'll keep myself busy with buying artwork!

I am a regular buyer online - books, mobile phones, gifts, watches, wallets, etc. The most I've spent online at one time is probably around Rs. 7K. I do follow some rules though - look for Verisign authentication (or pay through your own bank site), look for buyer track record (esp. on eBay), limit purchase size.
Except on maybe a couple of occasions of not too pricey purchases, I've mostly got a fair deal while following above rules. Sometimes the things (e.g. an iPhone clone) did not last as long as I could've expected, but these are risks you take for any purchase, not only those online.
