A peak into my trip to Mussoorie
Our trip to Mussoorie was really great. The weather in end September is just right, since the rains have cleared the dust from the atmosphere, one might get some spells of light rain, but it's mostly warm sunny days, cool evenings and always a lovely gentle breeze. I love traveling to the hills but somehow never made it to Mussoorie, so it was a nice treat for me. What I was looking forward to after the heat and dust of Dubai was some fresh air, places to walk outside, sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I got to do all that and more!

I myself went to Shanndoah National Park this weekend to watch the fall colors. It was still not screaming red and yellow yet but it sure was a pretty sight.
I hear great things about New Hampshire and Vermont in fall. Maybe some other time...
Yes, I do try to focus on the simple things, the stuff one sees in daily life, since I'm not a trained photog, it's best to keep it at a level I can understand.
Yes, I do have some really great flickr friends who comment on my pics...that's been the really surprising part about it...I never expected so much interaction.
I remember going to Shennandoah National Park....it's just beautiful there. I was there one summer during college for some hiking and picnicing and I have great memories of it.
Oh yes, you must go up to New England to see the colors. We had some really great colors in Providence in Rhode Island too.
PS: Happy Diwali to you and your family!
