Bamboo flooring

I've always liked having wooden floors, maybe since I grew up in the hills, where we always had them or more likely since I love the warm look and feel they create. Bamboo is a newer entrant to floors and is more eco-friendly than regular wood. Here's a good list of some Bamboo Flooring Manufacturers, if you are interested in installing them. It is also one of the most durable and long lasting natural materials. We had great floors in Bangalore and would have loved to have something similar here in Bombay, but since we were in a rush to find an apartment quickly, we had to fore go the wood floors. Interestingly, bamboo flooring is really popular here and there are a lots of companies getting into the business to handle the boom.
