Forbes reports that Wal-Mart is finally coming to India. The world's largest retailer announced that it had tied up with Bharti Enterprises to set up hundreds of stores across the country. While the full details are not yet out, the deal is said to be one of "equal partnership" between the two companies.

"We have signed an MoU (memorandum of understanding) for a joint venture and a franchise agreement," Mittal told reporters on the sidelines of an international business summit in New Delhi.
