Carrefour all set to enter Indian market

According to industry sources, the world’s second largest retailer, Carrefour is all set to enter the Indian market after a franchising tie up with the Dubai based Landmark Group. The new venture will set up hypermarkets to sell food and groceries, apparel and electronics. Although there is no confirmation on the finalization of the deal from either company, Landmark’s Director H Ramnathan said that the companies were still conducting talks.
