Reliance Retail's first store

Reliance Retail's much anticipated foray into retailing will happen in September, when the company opens its first store in Hyderabad. The store will be a food and grocery store. The announcement was made by Raghu Pillai, Reliance Retail President and Chief Executive (Operations and Strategy) in New Delhi. The company has recently had several high profile tie ups with state governments of Punjab and West Bengal for sourcing fresh fruits and vegetables.
