and it all came crashing down

It's been a crazy, crazy week. My computer crashed and I lost a month's worth of data. It was totally unexpected and absolutley blindsided me. Besides the personal writing that I lost, huge amounts of research I had done for work was all gone. When one works from home, should one have two computers to keep everything separate? I lost all my photographs, of which only 50 or so can be downloaded again. Its been the most awful, frustrating experience and I hope to never go through it again.
