How many languages do you know?

How many language's do you know? I speak two fluently, and a third one a bit brokenly, and read and write two languages. Is that enough in today's global world? No, not even close. If you want to make the most of opportunities in today's world, you have to know at least 3-4 languages, that too languages spread out from different regions of the world. Although there are lots of Spanish & German Courses available, I have my heart set on learning Italian first, and then learning German, which my hubby already knows.

I think it is also essential to learn one of the far eastern languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Taiwanese, since we are going to be doing a lot of business there. We are moving to Dubai next month and it will be a good opportunity to learn some Arabic while we are there. Living among the people and having to use a language on a daily basis is really the best way to learn a language.
